It runs as a 60-minute group session with Ian, Stylist, held over video with a small number of peers working on the same thing. No date is set yet — the waitlist hears first.

Come with a question you want answered. Ian keeps the group small so everyone gets time, and you will hear what other people are working through too.

Your card is charged when you buy your ticket, and your seat is confirmed straight away. There is no approval step — the session is already scheduled.

When will my session be confirmed?

Immediately. You'll receive an email with the joining details as soon as your ticket is bought.

What if I need to cancel or reschedule?

You can cancel or reschedule from your bookings dashboard. Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the session receive a full refund. Within 24 hours, please reach out to support@talented.nyc.

How do sessions take place?

Sessions are either video (via Zoom) or in-person, depending on the mentor's availability settings. The format is shown when you select a time slot.

Is my information secure?

Yes. Payments are processed by Stripe — TalentED never stores your card details. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest.

What do I get after the session?

Every session includes a personalised summary and clear next steps sent to your email within 48 hours of the session completing.

Ian McRae is a New York based fashion stylist, creative consultant, and cultural image maker whose work sits at the intersection of style, storytelling, and identity.
